Violence of Summer; Sing Blue Silver!

A nod to a Duran Duran with today’s title, but very apropos in light of current events within the world.  Riots in London, a terrible hate crime in Mississippi, the death of 31 troops in Afghanistan, and the severe beatdown that the sun is giving to the United States (and mainly Texas) are all echoing truths showing that the violence of summer is indeed present.

However, there is still good in this world.  I took some time to look for it out there this week and here is what I can share with you:

In light of all the sadness that has happened recently, joy is still here.  Day by day is the way I live and with a keen eye towards the future I act and accept my daily challenges as preparation for a me to come.  It’s worked for myself, but every one must choose their own way through this existence.

Then again, I do have a penchant for treating life like a grown up version of Double Dare.  Sometimes you just have to go with the physical challenge.         😉
