Into the Great Wide Open

Used Thursday night to start out the weekend properly by catching up with Jazzy Jeff at PM Lounge at downtown for the second time this year.  Always a treat to catch up with him and learn more about his DJ history.

Speaking on history, I ventured to Ft. Worth over the weekend to do a photo shoot for a band by the name of Pratty.  The sky was overcast, but nothing worrisome when we started.  I waited a lil bit to catch up with them near the border of the Old Stockyards and then we took to an abandoned warehouse for their photoshoot.

The trek was a nice meet and greet to draw out their personalities.  Once at the site, it was all smiles as the daylight changed from a pallid gray to an almost green/ebon cloud of inclement weather slowly moving in to complete our session.  I’m only able to share two pictures, but as they branch out and release more via their own rep I’m sure you’ll see a lot more of my work with them.

Check them out on Facebook at!

Here’s today’s batch for your perusal:

And of course, today’s post was inspired by Tom Petty from his  hit song of the same name.
