The fresh face of the new year slowly turns pale as the life runs wan in the rogue winds loosed across the plains of North Texas. The zephyrs roar in anticipation of their season; Old Man Winter is preparing for his visit here yet again.
We’ve partied in joyous response to his departure earlier this spring and all throughout summer as we embraced the hero of the heights, the sun. Helios stands strong, but when grey skies and soul-numbing chill set in, what good will he do?
Instead of winding down and sitting in, we are steppin out. Soon Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here and shortly after that, a new year. Speaking of new years, the next post will be a recap of all the content and change that happened on (and with) this photoblog.
Before we get to that point, let’s see the last batch of new from the 2010-2011 series:
All treats and no tricks. A full Halloween to a Halloween and the hits keep on coming. Will drop some of the numbers game on you and also show you some of what makes me keep this going but I think most of you already know.
If you DON’T know, then smile now and laugh on Thursday when you figure it out!
Until then, this is me not signing off but “steppin out” (and into) the reality of slumber where dreams of the nightlife, the joy of music, and the passion of being different lasts forever without end!
Boogie Down (DISCO/FUNK SOUL PARTY THIS FRIDAY AT FALLOUT LOUNGE HOSTED BY YOURS TRULY!)
See you on Thursday (and hopefully Friday night)!
