Waiting on word back as to if I landed another photo gig possibly in Downtown Dallas, still looking for a new place to live, and failed to set up anything before Valentine’s Day. Kind of on edge, kinda not, but still very “angsty” nonetheless.
Turn the energy into fuel for my art. Here’s today’s posting (with a small breakdown of the thought behind how I have been working with the “Shapes” series)!
I take an initial image and see what attributes can be added/removed to create a new view. I’ll sit within IRFan and play around for a bit (or until I am pleased with a new creation) and then when complete generate a new image. Sometimes it’s a matter of generating a new image and then altering THAT image a couple of times to get what I’m looking for. The real challenge comes in stopping manipulation and calling something “finished.” There always seems to be something else that could be done to a picture, but I’d be at this FOREVER if I didn’t limit myself.
Gave an initial image and it’s aftermath along with two alternates that I’ll be working with here soon.
With that being said, now that this chore is done I guess it’s time to go back to biting my nails. Damn you, Renegade Soundwave! And now to spite them, I give you the Tim Curry version.
