Dallas has talent in many forms. Last Saturday offered a view into some of the city’s best-kept secrets from the visual (and audio) world. The ArtCon (Art Conspiracy) went with a theme of sound (thus RZN8) and let it be reflected in both the live bands AND the awesome pieces on display for their charity event.
Here’s a look at the event in pictures (and less words). This IS a photoblog, right? 😉
There is another event upcoming later this year and I hope to be be involved with it as well. The bands, like Home by Hovercraft (who had a dancer on stage) and DataHowler (who syncs up both his music and visuals in a merry miasma of almost psychedelia) were amazing. I can’t wait to see what the next event ArtCon holds will be like.
Going back to last week’s entry, I’ll be posting up more from the trip to California on Thursday. This event was a little more relevant to local cultural taste, so I decided to go with it as today’s big story.
