Life is like walking down a corridor full of doors. They may all be locked or open, but you never know until you try to turn the handle. Which door you choose to open belongs to you.
I like to try to open them all. That will be either the key to my success or the cause of my downfall one of these days. Until then, I remain optimistic and in love with life and the opportunities/adventures it brings.
Speaking of adventure, this past weekend’s madness has luckily enough been chronicled by one of the premiere online zines in Dallas, Central Track. I’ve been freelancing and happy to work with a crew so in tune with the ever-changing pulse of this city. Here are links to my first two stories of the year with them. The first is regarding DJ Colette and DJ Heather (1/2 of the Chicago SuperJane group of female DJs) hitting up It’ll Do nightclub here in Dallas on Saturday.
The second is about the No Pants DART Ride that occurs annually here in the city. Talk about something out of the norm!
Here are a few pics to give a quick summary of things:
Keep walking those corridors, folks. Doors lead to more doors. By the time you get to the final one, you won’t remember how many you passed through to get there. The tales that you can tell from having traveled through them will be all that matters.
Keep on keeping on. See you on Thursday with more sights (and sounds) for your mind from my own!
