Solar Heat

The bright summer sun has illuminated a few paths for personal progress that I hadn’t imagined before this past month.  Finished a Skype interview with a well-known resort and if things work out well, I could be leaving Dallas and possibly abroad within a 6 month period.

On the flip of that, I had an interview last Friday that would land me back in the IT world making what I was making before but in a much more official regard.  It would close to home here in North Dallas, but would take up a LOT more of my personal time as I’d be part of a three man team.

After 35 years on Planet Earth doing what I’ve felt made the most sense and taking little in the way of SERIOUS chances, I think that I’m willing to take the biggest chance of all.

A chance on myself.  Done some prayer, talked to my mother about it (who is really supportive of the idea), and now all I can do is wait.

This solar heat is inducing sheer madness, but if this is the toughest thing on my plate then I can’t be too mad.  Humility, while not always appreciated, has kept me ahead of the game for a long time.  The dividends are paid out when I need them most.  For that, I am eternally thankful.

See you next week with more!  Enjoy your weekend (and keep your fingers crossed for me)!
