A Different Kind of Blue

Employing arts of the old to create new things with an old look.  Vintage is king again it seems.  I’m glad to be living in these times.

While I’m still a little down about the end of summer, it’s truly a different kind of blue.  Late nights by fall are their own private joy.  Gatherings take on a new life and fashion and feeling as well.

The Texas State Fair lingers nearer, the advent of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” and visiting home for Thanksgiving are already real thoughts.  The business of getting cooler weather means warmer hearts normally and since I rode most of summer through alone I have no idea what fall holds (but I welcome change).

Abstract thinking leads to abstract ways.  Here’s to one of the kings of abstract, Miles Davis with today’s title track.
