The end of year glamour is being laid on pretty thick by Mother Nature. Winter storm Cleon (I didn’t even know that winter storms got designated names) came through and blanketed the city of Dallas in a true winter wonderland.

It was cabin fever and power loss for many, but a well-received respite from the rigors of work and a prelude to a bit of romance for yours truly. Charlotte (my newest camera) and I went for a few strolls during the madness. The solace of silent city streets and the stark contrast of colorful leaves against white snow.

This was indeed a beautiful occasion.

The electricity of end of the year festivities grows greater with each passing day.
